This comment assume governments are good parents whose only intention is for the well being of their children. So we’d better to let our ignorant and stupid Chinese people with a civilization of 5000 hundred years of history and glory(according to their government) in the hand of their parents(read as “government”).

This is definitely a lie.

If I interpret the comment from the view point of Chinese government, it will look more interesting:”We took great effort to make such a mass which is easy to fall into lies. We are using this for our own end. We think if we open the gate to other information sources, they will fall into lies of others. So we erect GFW and other censoring mechanism to defend.”

恩，政府里都是一帮中年人和老头子，年轻人实在没法和他们沟通。
至于大多数人的素质，就不劳某些人操心了，谁给你这个权力来管的？
确实没法辩论，人家思想都这样了，除了同情，也没什么别的好说

我比较赞同这种说法。如果真的想去访问“围墙”外的世界，足够聪明的人总是能想出办法办到的。

可能是全民素质没有达到一定阶段，就想不长大的小孩一样，有些事情是需要回避的。

我发现有很多人理解能力有问题，特别是年青人。要客观地看待世界，并不是每个人都能做到的。

没分辨力的人还是少点信息接触好一些

这种想法实际就是骨子里的精英思想和愚民政策，其实和政府GFW的做法一脉相承。民众没有理解能力，所以不要让他们知道，太荒唐了。如此下去，我们的公民哪一天才能有相称的理解能力？连形成这种素养的环境都被人剥夺掉了
